Web Design and Software in the Piedmont Triad

Websites, custom software and search visibility for businesses across Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and the towns around them.

The short answer.

Lumorise is a web design and custom software studio in Greensboro, working across the Piedmont Triad: Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and the towns between them. Every North Carolina client we have is in this region, which is why the work on this page is named rather than described.

Three cities that hire from the same pool

The Triad is one labor market wearing three names. People live in one of these cities, work in another and buy in a third without thinking about it, and a business here routinely serves customers it will never be in the same county as. The economies underneath are not interchangeable, which is the part outside agencies miss. Each of the three built itself on something different, and a site that works for one kind of buyer can be close to useless for another. What they share is scale: these are businesses large enough to have a real operational problem and small enough that one person is still carrying it in their head. That combination is most of why our work here skews toward tooling rather than brochures. The website is rarely the actual problem. It is the thing that finally makes the underlying problem visible.

Everything we have built in North Carolina is here

Five client projects, spread across the region. In Greensboro, M&K Auto Service runs a dealership and a repair shop from one site with a live inventory feed behind it, and Moe's Pizza & Subs takes orders through a menu that cannot drift out of date. In High Point, Sammys Auto put a showroom and a mechanic shop on one site with per-vehicle pages and a quote flow, and we built the WooCommerce catalog for a wheel retailer trading from showrooms in two different cities. The Goat Epoxy Coating is the one that covers the region rather than a city. Their crews coat floors across eight Triad towns, and each town has its own service-area page, because somebody searching for epoxy flooring in Thomasville should not land on a page written for somewhere else. That is the complete list. It is five businesses, not fifty, and every claim on this site traces back to one of them.

What being in the region actually changes

Very little about the code and quite a lot about the conversation. We can get to any of the three cities and back inside a morning, so the first meeting happens in your building rather than over a screen share, and we have usually been to the kind of place you are describing. It also means we know what your customers will and will not do. A Triad customer will drive twenty-five minutes for a good shop and will not drive an hour, which decides how far a service-area page is worth reaching and which towns belong on it. Agencies working from a list of city names cannot make that call, so they either name every town within fifty miles or none at all, and both are wrong.

The towns around the three cities

Most Triad businesses sell well past their own city limits. The Goat Epoxy's coverage is a fair map of how far that reaches in practice: Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point, then Kernersville, Burlington, Lexington, Thomasville and Asheboro. Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Summerfield and Pleasant Garden sit inside the same orbit. None of those towns has a page of its own here. That is deliberate, and it is the same reasoning every time: a page built for a search nobody runs does not sit quietly, it drags down the pages that would otherwise earn their place. Coverage belongs in the copy and in the schema, not in a page count.

Questions, answered.

  • Are you actually in the Triad, or just targeting it?

In it. The studio is in Greensboro and every North Carolina client we have is in this region. That is the whole reason this page can name specific businesses and specific towns instead of describing a generic service area the way most results for this search do.

  • Do you charge more to work in Winston-Salem or High Point than in Greensboro?

No. The three cities are close enough that travel is not a factor worth billing for, and a scoped project costs what the scope costs regardless of which of them you are in. Distance only becomes a conversation well outside the region.

  • Should my business have one site or a page for each town I serve?

One site, with a page for each town where somebody is genuinely searching and where you would actually take the job. The Goat Epoxy has eight because its crews really do work in eight. Building pages for towns you would decline is the fastest way to get all of them ignored.

  • Can you meet in person?

Yes, and for a first meeting we prefer to. Anywhere in the three cities is a short drive, so there is no reason to start a project over video when we can look at how the business actually runs. Later meetings move to a weekly call you are free to skip.
